Admirals Ink Farinacci to AHL Deal
Ads Regular Season Starts October 3
Milwaukee, WI—The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that they have signed center John Farinacci to an American Hockey League contract for the 2026-27 season.
Farinacci joins the Admirals after playing the past three seasons with the Providence Bruins where he collected 95 points on 31 goals and 64 assists while playing in 197 games. Last season the Red Bank, JN native scored nine goals and dished out 10 assists for 19 points in 68 games for the P-Bruins, who finished as the winner of the MacGregor Kilpatrick Trophy as the AHL’s regular season champions.
In addition, Farinacci made his NHL debut with Boston on April 15, 2005, scoring a goal in the Bruins 4-3 OT loss to New Jersey.
Prior to turning pro, Farinacci played three seasons of college hockey at Harvard University, collected 61 points (25g-36a) in 79 games and helping the Crimson to the 2022 ECAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He also helped TeamUSA to a gold medal in the 2021 World Junior Championships, finishing the tournament tied for fourth on the team with five goals.
Farinacci and the Admirals will kick off the 2026-27 season on the road in Rockford on October 3rd before commencing the home portion of their schedule one week later October 10th at 6 pm against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Panther Arena.
