ACX Entertainment Center to Host Sensory Friendly Movie Sept. 30

GLENDALE, Wis. (Sept. 25, 2023) – ACX Cinemas will host a sensory friendly viewing of “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the ACX Entertainment Center, located at 5750 N. Bayshore Dr. The movie will feature brighter lights and quieter sound compared to usual viewings.

Sensory friendly viewings allow for families who have children with diverse abilities, such as autism, epilepsy and more to enjoy their favorite films in a safe, calm environment. These viewings cater to their unique needs, allowing families to move around and express themselves during the movie.

The Sept. 30 sensory friendly screening will be the first viewing as part of an ongoing effort to create safe, welcoming environments for those with diverse abilities. ACX Cinemas will host routine sensory friendly screenings throughout the year at participating locations.

ACX Cinemas will host sensory friendly shows at four of their locations across the United States: ACX Cinema 12+ in Elkhorn, Nebraska; Aksarben Cinema in Omaha, Nebraska; ACX Entertainment in Glendale, Wisconsin; and The ACX Promenade Cinema 14 in Sioux City, Iowa.
