A Celebration of Ending Homelessness-A Pathway Home
Join us in celebrating and honoring women who are making a difference in ending homelessness
MILWAUKEE, WI – Cathedral Center will host its annual Pathway Home: A Celebration of Ending Homelessness to raise critical funds for women and families with children served at Cathedral Center’s (CCI) Emergency Shelter and housing programs. This year’s celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 30th, at the Italian Community Center, 631 E Chicago St, Milwaukee, WI, from 5 PM – 8 PM.
Pathway Home 2025 is co-chaired by Cathedral Center board members Tony Tagliavia and Kim Preston, two respected Milwaukee-area leaders with a strong commitment to community service. Tony is Chief Marketing Officer at Milwaukee Area Technical College and Board Secretary for Cathedral Center. Kim, a longtime financial services leader at First Business Bank, actively serves with several community and nonprofit organizations across the region.
The highlight of the evening will be the celebration of individuals through the Woman of the Word and INSPIRE Awards. We are proud to announce Joann Steidinger as the 2025 Woman of the Word honoree.
Joann Steidinger is a servant leader whose generous spirit and deep commitment to others continue to make a lasting impact in Milwaukee and beyond. From leading mission efforts at Crossroads Church and assisting Afghan refugee families to supporting hurricane relief efforts and volunteering at Cathedral Center, Joann exemplifies compassion in action. Her tireless dedication inspires all those around her.
We are also honored to present this year’s INSPIRE Award to a former guest of Cathedral Center, whose personal journey of healing and housing stability offers hope to others experiencing homelessness. Their courageous story will be shared during the evening’s program.
