MADISON, Wis. — As Wisconsinites across the state engage in peaceful protests this weekend, using their voices to speak out against the cruel and inhumane actions and policies of the Trump Administration, A Better Wisconsin Together released the following statement of support:

“Across the nation and right here in Wisconsin, our freedom to peacefully protest and use our voices to speak out against injustice is one that all of us hold dear, and one that must be protected at all costs – especially as the Trump Administration and a handful of Wisconsin Republicans continue to show just how far they will go to silence and punish anyone who disagrees with their extreme agenda.

“From supporting our local immigrant communities and local Main Streets, to protecting our access to healthcare, food, housing, and other essential resources, Wisconsinites will always stand up for our neighbors, no matter what.

A Better Wisconsin Together stands in solidarity with everyone exercising their right to use their voices in Wisconsin and beyond to build a better future for all of us, no matter where we were born or what we look like.”
