75 Prominent Community Leaders Endorse Jack Eckblad for Re-Election to Milwaukee County Board

MILWAUKEE, WI – A group of respected notable neighbors and community leaders from across Milwaukee County’s 4th District announced their enthusiastic support for County Supervisor Jack Eckblad as he seeks re-election, praising his record of results, his bold responsible leadership, and his unwavering commitment to the community.

In a joint letter to fellow residents, the group highlighted Eckblad’s extensive accomplishments during his first term — from revitalizing beloved county parks to tackling reckless driving and spearheading innovative solutions to address housing insecurity.

Among Eckblad’s notable achievements:

• Revitalizing Milwaukee County Parks: Oversaw transformational updates to South Shore Park and new playgrounds at Mitchell Airport Park, with Copernicus Park next in line. He also ensured every wading pool in the district reopened for the first time since before the pandemic.
• Addressing Reckless Driving: Partnered with law enforcement and local officials to directly address reckless driving incidents on I-794 and the Hoan Bridge.
• Innovative Housing Solutions: Championed new resources for renters facing eviction, helped cement flexible rental assistance in the county budget, and launched Wisconsin’s first county-wide housing website to connect residents with affordable housing options and critical services.
• Standing Up for Neighbors’ Rights: Advocated for immigrants and all residents’ rights to due process, peace, and prosperity.
