“2025 Public Schools Week: We Celebrate & Advocate”
Rep. Robyn Vining Celebrates Public Schools Week
Madison–In honor of Public Schools Week, a week-long celebration that honors public schools and highlights the importance of public education, Rep. Robyn Vining (D-Wauwatosa) issued the following statement:
“Public Schools Week is a time to both celebrate our public schools, and advocate for them.
“Public schools week is a time to celebrate that public schools are an economic engine, and a public good, and a time to advocate for responsible investments in education.
“Public schools week is a time to remember that every child has the constitutional right to an adequately funded public education, and a time to advocate to fund the education every Wisconsin kid deserves.
“Public schools week is a time to celebrate that teachers are vital members of our communities, and to advocate that they are treated with the dignity, respect, and admiration they deserve.
“During Public Schools Week and throughout the state budget process, let’s celebrate and advocate– and let’s commit to finding common ground for the common good and finally provide our public schools with the sustainable funding they deserve. Forward, together!”
Rep. Vining represents the 13th Assembly District, which includes Elm Grove, and parts of Wauwatosa and Brookfield. For more information visit Rep. Vining’s website here.
