2015 Milwaukee Film Festival Box Office Now Open
Opening Night Party melds film and community with audience, donors and sponsors
MILWAUKEE – Thursday, September 10, 2015 – The 7th Annual Milwaukee Film Festival, presented by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, announces the opening of its festival Box Office. Beginning today, the general public may purchase tickets to individual films online, in person at the Landmark Oriental Theatre Box Office and by phone. Patrons may also search for films by name or keyword, view films by program, sort by show times and view trailers using the online film guide.
Last year’s Milwaukee Film Festival experienced a record 64 sold-out screenings. Anticipating even larger crowds, Milwaukee Film highly encourages festival goers to purchase tickets well in advance and for ticketholders to arrive thirty minutes prior to showtime to guarantee seating. Beginning 15 minutes before each film, empty seats will be sold to patrons in the rush ticket line. Rush tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets for the Opening Night Party are also available for purchase now, though admission is complimentary for passholders and patrons with a ticket to the Opening Night Film, Youth. The party will feature food, music, drinks and dancing. Headline performances include the Florentine Opera Company at 9:45pm and Tigernite at 10:30pm.
“We’re thrilled to be back at UWM’s Kenilworth Square East this year for a multi-floor experience featuring live music, a beauty bar, film trailers, bites and beverages courtesy of our wonderful sponsors.
