Try It Thursday’s!
Try it Thursdays are back by popular demand! Want to try something creative but don’t want the hassle of buying supplies and making the mess at home? Gather a friend or two, and come on in for a one night only make it and take it art experience. Bring a bottle of wine and let the art party begin! Advanced registration required. On March 24 make an assortment of cards for a variety of occasions. Everyone loves a handmade card!

Join us for one day of creating art! March 30 - Zootopia: Animals in Art Does it growl, hop, slither or glide? Is it striped, spotted or smooth? Discover the art of animals as we create a jungle of creatures exploring their texture, color, characteristics and more. After all, it's a zoo in here! March 31 - Over the Rainbow Garden Art Spend the day making art that is inspired by the outdoors. Create fantasy landscapes, upcycled outdoor statues, bird houses, wind chimes and more! You may even want to submit your art work in Wustum's summer community exhibit. An introduction to basic concepts of how to draw your pet's portrait. Draw your beloved dog, cat, Guinea pig, fish, turtle, lizard or bird. Any and all creatures can be rendered with style, love, and panache. Work with this father-daughter team of art professors who find a special place for animals in their own lives. Discover how to render an animal's portrait by learning basic facial proportions and different ways of drawing texture. Have fun together while finding joy in drawing our creatures. Students need to bring a few 4 x 6 inch or larger photographs of their animal's face, at least one photograph in profile is necessary.
