From Eastern Europe to North Africa: Celebrating the Diversity and Unity of the Jewish People
RUACH will honor the Jewish Home and Care Center with its 'RUACH Spirit' award and attendees will enjoy the highly anticipated musical entertainment for the afternoon From Eastern Europe to North Africa: Celebrating the Diversity and Unity of the Jewish People. It will feature the music of the talented multi-instrumentalist Adam Margolis & the Flying Camels, including a number of other well-known and gifted performers, including Rick Aaron, Guy Fiorentini, Linda Siegel, and special guest Hazzan Ouri Marciano. Sharing the concert program will be the always popular Lil’ Rev, whose ukulele prowess and Yiddish interpretations are known near and far. Using their wide-ranging talents, the musicians will highlight music that ranges from exquisitely sensitive to joyful to rollicking and beyond. 4:30 p.m. Hors d'Oeuvre Reception w/ Kosher supervision by Wisconsin K 5:15 p.m. Award Ceremony and Musical Celebration Tickets: $18 Adults/$10 Youth & Students (This event is intended for attendees age 8+)

From dancing mice and toy soldiers to twirling flowers and snowflakes, local dance studio, The Dance Factory, will get audience members in the true holiday spirit during their classic performances of “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Great Room. Attendees can stop by the Frontier Restaurant beforehand for the Prime Rib Buffet.

Looking for something fun to do Christmas Day? Come to JMM to enjoy a film, fortune cookies and film-fare-favorite – popcorn! We will be screening “The Glass Menagerie” (1987) based on the Tennessee Williams play of the same title, directed by Paul Newman and starring Joanne Woodward and John Malkovich. Film will be shown at 1:00 pm; running time: 2hrs. 4mins. Free with museum admission. The Glass Menagerie Synopsis: A son, Tom Wingfield, longs to escape from his stifling home, where his genteel mother worries about the future prospects of his lame, shy sister. Tom invites a friend to dinner, raising the hope that a romantic match for his sister is possible. Film offered in connection with the current special exhibit, Once & Again: Still Lifes by Beth Lipman, on display at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee through January 8, 2017.
