Milwaukee Choristers Auditions
Singers, particularly tenors and basses, are encouraged to audition for the 75-voice choir. Auditions will be held Wednesday, December 14 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Wauwatosa Ave. United Methodist Church in Wauwatosa, where the Choristers hold weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals. The choir performs a mix of classical and contemporary music, spirituals and Broadway/American tunes. Email auditions@milwaukeechoristers.org or call 414-354-1933 to schedule your audition. Walk-ins will be heard in between appointments.

Milwaukee Comedy Presents Guy Branum!
Milwaukee Comedy is proud to present Guy Branum live on stage for a night of hilarious stand up on Wednesday, December 14th at 7:30 p.m. You know him from Chelsea Lately, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, E! television network, MTV and plenty more. The show will be one night only at The Underground Collaborative, home of Milwaukee Comedy, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. Lower Level of the Grand Ave Mall (Below TJ Maxx). About Guy Branum Guy Branum is a writer and comedian best known for his recurring segment “No More Mr. Nice Gay” on Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, serving as “Staff Homosexual” on Chelsea Lately and his performance as Natalie Portman’s sassy gay friend in No Strings Attached. Noticing a trend? He’s appeared on E!, MTV, G4, Current TV and lots of other channels you’d need to upgrade your cable to watch. He’s also written for Punk’d, Another Period, Awkward., Billy on the Street and Fashion Police. That means he’s watched the Grammys at Joan Rivers’s house. Jealous? Guy also writes self-important essays for various blogs and occasionally makes web vides where he dances around without his shirt on. But mostly, Guy is very, very beautiful and good at having sex. The Underground Collaborative (The UC for short!) is located in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., Lower Level of the Grand Ave Mall (below TJ Maxx).

Celtic Woman
World famous all-female musical ensemble Celtic Woman continues North American tour to support new album. If you like celtic folk, and classical crossover, this concert is for you. 'Voices of Angels', the group's new studio work, hits digital stores November 17. The album features stunning new orchestral arrangements, recorded with the 72-piece Orchestra of Ireland. Celtic Woman consists of Máiréad Carlin, Susan McFadden, Éabha McMahon, and Tara McNeill.
