This concert features two outstanding ensembles. The resident UW-Milwaukee Youth Wind and Percussion Ensemble (UWAY) and the UWAY “All-Star” Band, an ensemble made up of the most select members of our recent UWM Middle School Honors Band Festival.

UWAY will perform a varied program of traditional wind-band favorites, along with more contemporary pieces with unique performance practices. The UWAY “All-Star” Band will perform a few selections of their own before joining “UWAY” on an energetic closing number. The future of UWAY is bright with these All-Stars!
