The Friends of the Domes’ Education Program brings you virtual, interactive science experiences! Mr. Pete (with his seemingly never ending supply of props, songs, stories, and Puppet Pals) explores various science topics that meet Wisconsin Academic Standards for Science and Health, Grades K-6th. For schools, home schooled students, scout groups, camps, or any other group of children!
In “Pollinators, Unite!”, you’ll meet Honey B. as she explains the diversity of pollinators and flowers. Mr. Pete will lead you in the game show, “Who’s Your Pollinator?” All this and much more as we explore the importance of pollinators in your backyard and around the world!

Program Outline:
Honey B. Introduction
Wow! Theme is introduced and we talk about Pollinators.
Activity #1- Parts of a Flower and Their Purposes
Activity #2 – Wheel of Flowers: Introduce the diversity of flowers and their pollinators from around the world.
Activity #3 – Pollination Adaptation: Goal- Students will learn that many different species of flowers are rare or unique and need special attention from their pollinators to survive.

Cost for virtual experience: $65 for pre-recorded video, 40-50 minutes long

Register between Janurary 15th – February 5th. The link will be sent out to registrants on Feb 8th. This is a pre-recorded video that can be watched at your and your classroom/organization’s leisure on or after Feb 8th.
