Politics of the 1960s with Former Presidential Advance Man Mel Cottone

June 20, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Mel Cottone began a remarkable career in politics in 1960 by a chance meeting with Ted Kennedy when Ted was helping then Senator John F. Kennedy advance his presidential ambitions. Throughout Mr. Cottone’s political career, he has held many different positions including: Campaign Advance Man, Presidential Appointee, Political Strategist, and more.

We are excited to have Mel Cottone come to Ovation Communities to share his experiences with us. Politics in the 1960s was so different than what we see today, it will be great to have a fresh perspective from someone who has lived it.
