Marquette University Symphony Orchestra: Mendelssohn’s ‘Italian’

The Marquette University Symphony Orchestra will perform their annual spring concert at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28 at the Varsity Theatre, 1326 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee. This performance is free and open to the public.

The symphony, led by Maestro Erik Janners, will be featuring two iconic works from the orchestral repertoire at this concert – Mendelssohn‘s spirited Symphony No. 4, Op. 90, “Italian” and Mozart‘s darkened Symphony No. 40 , K. 550. The graduating seniors of the symphony will be recognized during the concert, following intermission. This performance concludes the MUSO’s 2018-19 concert season.
