A historic building redeveloped in 12 apartments after a 2016 raze order. The apartments are known as The Block. and opened in late summer 2020.
An event venue, known as The George, opened in 2021 on the first floor. It includes a downstairs lounge known as the Madcap Lounge and is managed by Saz’s Hospitality Group.
Developer Michael Morrison led the project, including the general contracting. Jay Franke and David Herro served as active investors in the development. Continuum Architects + Planners designed the redevelopment.
