Rep. Tip McGuire Receives Wisconsin Counties Association Award
MADISON- Representative Tip McGuire (D-Kenosha) was honored this week with the Outstanding Legislator Award from the Wisconsin Counties Association for his steadfast support of local governments.
“Counties and local governments provide the essential services that make our communities safe and healthy places to live and work,” said Representative Tip McGuire, “I am thankful for all that our counties do for the people of our state, and am honored to receive this recognition from the Wisconsin Counties Association.”
As a member of the Joint Finance Committee, Rep. McGuire has proudly fought to ensure counties and local governments have the resources they need. Throughout the budget process, Rep. McGuire voted in favor of supporting the work of local governments, from public safety and health to local roads and outdoor recreation.
