Guest House of Milwaukee Announces the Hiring of Cody Andrews as Vice President of Community Housing Programs
Milwaukee, WI – Guest House of Milwaukee is pleased to announce the hiring of Cody Andrews as its new Vice President of Community Housing Programs, a key executive leadership role responsible for leading the organization’s large housing program portfolio and advancing its mission to end homelessness in the Milwaukee community.
In this role, Andrews will provide strategic oversight for Guest House’s comprehensive housing programs, including permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, homelessness prevention, and other community-based initiatives. He will serve on the organization’s Executive Leadership Team, working closely with senior leaders to strengthen program performance, expand impact, and respond to evolving community needs.
Andrews brings extensive experience in housing and homeless services, program management, and government-funded initiatives. Most recently, he served as Operations Manager at Hebron Housing Services, where he managed a wide range of HUD-funded housing programs, including Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, and tenant-based rental assistance, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Throughout his career, Andrews has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, manage complex housing systems, analyze program data, and build collaborative partnerships across community organizations. His background also includes leadership roles with multiple Corps of The Salvation Army (Milwaukee, Stevens Point, and Waukesha), where he oversaw social service programming, housing initiatives, and grant management, further strengthening his expertise in supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cody to Guest House of Milwaukee,” said Stephen Bauer, Chief Executive Officer. “Cody brings a deep understanding of housing systems, strong leadership experience, and a passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness. His expertise will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our housing programs and help more individuals and families achieve stability and independence.”
Andrews holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and has been actively engaged in the local housing and homelessness response system through board leadership and community partnerships.
Guest House of Milwaukee has been serving the community since 1982, providing a full continuum of care including shelter, housing, education, clinical services, and long-term case management. The organization is dedicated to helping individuals secure and sustain safe, affordable housing while restoring dignity, stability, and independence.
