7-Year-Old Injured in Milwaukee Shooting; Teen Suspect in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred a 1:15am on Saturday, October 31, 2026 in the 2200 block of n 41st St. The 7-year-old victim sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A 16-year-old is in custody regarding the incident. The Milwaukee Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of this incident and criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
MPD would like to remind the public to keep firearms out of the hands of children and properly store and secure them.
