Seniors Are (Extra) Special on June 16 at the Zoo
Senior Safari Presented by Network Health
MILWAUKEE, WI – Guests age 60 and older are invited to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Tuesday, June 16 for a day of free admission, plus special activities and experiences from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Senior Safari presented by Network Health will offer fun and entertainment, designed for the young at heart. Proof of age is required to receive free admission. (Regular parking fees apply).
Seniors can visit favorite animals, take in the fresh air, and get some exercise by choosing from multiple fitness activities available. All activities for Senior Safari are free unless otherwise noted.
Programming and highlights include:
- Network Health — Stop by the Network Health table for interactive games and giveaways and connect with a pharmacist and member experience representative. Take this opportunity to learn more about Network Health, ask questions, and enjoy some fun activities!
- Pickleball, Chair Yoga, and Fun Walk — Get moving with these special activities and visit the UnitedHealthcare table for a chance to win a prize!
- Sweet Treat sponsored by St. Camillus — While supplies last.
- Complimentary Cookies courtesy of Festival Foods — While supplies last.
- Entertainment — Marcell Guyton, Piano Man Extraordinaire featuring rock, pop, R&B, and all the classics.
- Exhibitors — Meet a variety of interesting exhibitors, chosen with the needs of seniors in mind.
There will be multiple opportunities throughout the day to get up close and learn more about featured Zoo residents: through Animal Chat, Animal Encounter Talks, and Animals in Action.
Zoo favorites will also be open and available to participate in, including the Summer Exhibit: Powerful Pollinators presented by Meijer, Zoo Expeditions, and the North Shore Bank Safari Train.
