OAK CREEK, Wis. – The International Union of United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) announced its endorsement of Oak Creek Mayor and Milwaukee Building & Construction Trades Council President Dan J. Bukiewicz in his campaign for Wisconsin’s 21st Assembly District.

Bradley Schwanda, the WI Political Legislative Coordinator for Region 4, released the following statement:

“Wisconsin families have a major decision to make in the upcoming election. On behalf of UAW Region 4 and the Wisconsin State CAP/PAC Council, we are proud to endorse a true supporter of workers and working families in Dan Bukiewicz for Wisconsin Assembly District 21.”

“I am deeply honored that UAW, Region 4 chose to endorse my campaign,” Bukiewicz said. “Too often, the voices of working families are not heard by our elected leaders. The status quo works for powerful special interest groups. But I’ve spent my career standing with workers, and I’m ready to bring that fight to Madison.”
