County Executive David Crowley Statement on Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu Not Seeking Reelection
MILWAUKEE – County Executive David Crowley released the following statement regarding the announcement that Wisconsin State Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu will not seek reelection.
“As I said in my State of the County address today, I’m grateful for the bipartisan relationships that we have built with members of the Wisconsin State Legislature. That includes Wisconsin State Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, who we’ve been able to find common ground with to deliver results for Milwaukee County residents and families. While we don’t agree on every issue, we worked together to pass shared revenue reforms, keep the Brewers in Milwaukee, and advance critical investments in public safety, affordable housing, economic development, and more. I thank Majority Leader LeMahieu for his years of public service, and wish him and his family well in their next chapter.”
