WisGOP Thanks Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu for Years of Service
MADISON, Wis. — Today, Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg) announced he will not seek re-election in the Wisconsin State Senate, marking the end of a significant chapter in Republican leadership.
As Majority Leader since 2021, Senator LeMahieu has been a steadfast defender of conservative principles. He has played a pivotal role in stopping harmful Democrat-backed policies, championing fiscal responsibility, and helping keep Wisconsin affordable and prosperous for working families and taxpayers across the state.
