Libertarian Party of Wisconsin Announces 2026 State Convention
The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) will host its 2026 State Convention April 24–26, 2026, at Treehaven UW–Stevens Point in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
Friday evening will feature a keynote address by Scott Horton, a nationally recognized foreign policy expert, author, and host of The Scott Horton Show. Horton is widely known for his analysis of U.S. foreign policy and civil liberties issues and will speak on the importance of a non-interventionist approach to international affairs.
Delegates will consider organizational priorities, discuss strategy for upcoming elections, and collaborate on strengthening grassroots efforts throughout Wisconsin. The convention also provides an opportunity for prospective candidates, supporters, and members of the public to engage directly with party leadership.
“In a time when many voters feel politically homeless, our convention is where principled, solutions-oriented conversations take place,” said Reese Wood, Chair of the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin. “We are focused on transparency, engagement, and building a stronger liberty movement across the state.”
The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin advocates for civil liberties, free markets, and constitutionally limited government. The party has maintained ballot access in Wisconsin for multiple election cycles and continues to expand its grassroots presence statewide.
