Trump’s Yes-Men Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden Throw Wisconsin Businesses Under the Bus — Again

MADISON, Wis. — Multiple Wisconsin businesses are suing the Trump administration over its illegal tariffs, which Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden support. Retailers like Kohl’s and Milwaukee Tool have filed lawsuits, citing the costs the tariff taxes have imposed on their businesses. On Friday, the conservative Supreme Court ruled the GOP’s tariff tax illegal, and both Van Orden and Tiffany have criticized the decision.

“It should come as no surprise that Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden are standing behind Donald Trump’s illegal tariff tax,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “While Wisconsin businesses struggle to stay afloat, they have acted as a rubber stamp for Trump’s affordability crisis — all while collecting taxpayer-funded salaries. They have completely abandoned their constituents to rub elbows with wealthy elites in Washington.”
