Forward Latino Launches Faith-Based “The Lord Knows When We Look Away” Campaign
Franklin, WI – The National President of Forward Latino, a national non-profit, non-partisan, service and advocacy organization headquartered in Franklin, Wisconsin, this morning formally launched its “The Lord Knows When We Look Away” campaign to remind all Christians of the intersection between their faith and the treatment of immigrants.
Statement by National President Darryl Morin:
“This morning, on behalf of our members, affiliates, and staff, people united by faith and conscience, we announce the launch of our “The Lord Knows When We Look Away” campaign.
That responsibility does not end at birth, nor is it diminished by age, nationality, or circumstance. We are called to protect both life and the God-given dignity present in every person from the moment of conception, regardless of where that life began.
Moved by faith and guided by conscience, we are bringing this message to the web, social media, billboards, and beyond, to bear witness, speak truth with compassion, and remind all people of faith that the Lord knows when we look away.”
Billboard live on I-94 & Hwy 16 (between Oconomowoc and Waukesha, WI):
