WAUWATOSA, WI — Alderman Sean Lowe today announced his campaign for re-election to the Wauwatosa Common Council, now seeking to represent District 6 following the implementation of new council structure and district boundaries endorsed by voters in the 2022 referendum. Lowe, who was elected to represent District 5 in 2022, now resides in the newly configured District 6 as a result of the redistricting process.

“When I first ran for office, I pledged to focus on safety and opportunity for all Wauwatosa residents,” said Lowe. “That commitment transcends district boundaries. While I now seek to represent District 6 due to the voter-approved redistricting, my dedication to creating a world-class city in Wisconsin that prepares us for growth remains steadfast. Experienced council members ensure stability and continuity as we navigate change. My vision for Wauwatosa benefits all residents regardless of district lines.”

Lowe brings experience and proven leadership from his current term serving District 5 to the newly configured District 6.

Since his election in 2022, Lowe has championed the same priorities he pledged during his initial campaign:

  • Growth and Opportunity: Attracting creative businesses and inspiring leaders to Wauwatosa.
  • Public Safety: Working to build trust between law enforcement and community members.
  • Greenspace and Parks: Maintaining walking paths, parks, and other outdoor spaces.
