MILWAUKEE, WI (December 5, 2025) – WISN 12, in partnership with the MACC Fund, is raising money to fight childhood cancer and related blood disorders. On Friday, December 12, 2025, donations can be made in-person at Candy Cane Lane, an annual holiday light display in West Allis, WI. In addition, online contributions can be made right now by visiting wisn.com/giving. The fundraising effort is part of the station’s ‘WISN 12 Day of Giving’ initiative, which assists local non-profit organizations across our area.

“Whether you’re donating from the comfort of home or coming down to Candy Cane Lane, these kids desperately need you,” says Shawn Oswald, president and general manager of WISN 12.

Donations will help the MACC Fund provide financial support for local research to find a cure for childhood cancer and related blood disorders. Along with accepting contributions online, the WISN 12 News team and MACC Fund volunteers will be at Candy Cane Lane on December 12, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. to gather donations. The collection location is on 95th Street between Oklahoma Avenue and Manitoba Avenue. In addition, through the generosity of North Shore Bank, donations will be matched up to the first $5,000.

“From our local communities to area companies, this is a great cause we can all get behind,” shares Oswald. “The power of giving will be on full display on December 12th!”

The fundraising campaign with the MACC Fund is the latest collaboration of the ‘WISN 12 Day of Giving’ initiative, which supports local non-profit organizations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. In the ongoing campaign, the station features a different non-profit each month to help advance its mission, pursue its goals, and most importantly, improve people’s lives. This initiative aims to promote the power of community through the power of giving.
