MILWAUKEE, Wis. — November 17, 2025 — The City of Milwaukee Election Commission (MEC), in partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), is excited to announce the top finalists for the inaugural “I Voted Early” Sticker Design Contest.

Milwaukee residents are now invited to cast their votes to help select the winning designs that will become the official “I Voted Early” stickers for the City of Milwaukee’s 2026–2027 election season.

From more than 400 creative submissions, four finalists from each category have been selected by a panel of judges: Kindergarten to 3rd Grade, 4th to 7th Grade, 8th to 12th Grade, and Adults (18+).

Public voting opens November 17 and runs through December 17, 2025. Voting is open to all Milwaukee residents and can be completed online by visiting www.milwaukee.gov/election.

“We’ve been delighted by the enthusiasm of our community. It’s an exciting inaugural program that highlights the creativity of our students and families at MPS,” said Paulina Gutiérrez, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Election Commission. “These designs reflect the civic pride, imagination, and diversity of Milwaukee. Now it’s your turn to help choose the stickers that will inspire voters citywide during the upcoming elections.”

MPS Superintendent Dr. Brenda Cassellius added, “Our students and families have shown such excitement in connecting art and democracy. This next step—voting on the finalists—is another opportunity to celebrate civic engagement and show that every vote truly counts.”

Winning designs will be announced in January 2026 and printed as 2-inch round stickers to be distributed at all early voting locations during the 2026 and 2027 elections.
