HKE MKE is our annual urban HKE through Riverside Park and the beautiful Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum.

• Exciting kickoff in Riverside Park’s newest greenspace with Samba de Vida (Milwaukee-based Brazilian samba & percussion ensemble) from 10am-11:30am
• Expect a fully urban nature HKE including paved, gravel, and woodchipped paths
• Stop at Trailside Activities where you can get hands-on with nature and try fun activities together
• Play HKE Route Bingo (yes, there will be a prize!) while you explore
• Cross the finish line and enjoy the NEW encore celebration with a lively party including food, local vendors, cozy campfires, and outdoor games

• Every hiker gets their own eco-friendly Urban Ecology Center adventure journal – perfect for doodles, leaf rubbings, and jotting down all the cool stuff you discover.
