Your ticket isn’t just for a fun Saturday – it’s helping connect kids\, families\, and the whole community to nature year-round. \nHKE MKE is our annual urban HKE through Riverside Park and the beautiful Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum. \n\nExciting kickoff in Riverside Park’s newest greenspace with Samba de Vida (Milwaukee-based Brazilian samba & percussion ensemble) from 10am-11:30am\nExpect a fully urban nature HKE including paved\, gravel\, and woodchipped paths\nStop at Trailside Activities where you can get hands-on with nature and try fun activities together\nPlay HKE Route Bingo (yes\, there will be a prize!) while you explore\nCross the finish line and enjoy the NEW encore celebration with a lively party including food\, local vendors\, cozy campfires\, and outdoor games\n\nThis year’s NEW perks: \n\nEvery hiker gets their own eco-friendly Urban Ecology Center adventure journal – perfect for doodles\, leaf rubbings\, and jotting down all the cool stuff you discover.\nEncore Celebration Station! End your HKE under the iconic rainbow stone archway – join us at Prairie Springs on Park for picnic vibes complete with music\, food\, campfires\, & fun with the Betty Brinn Wonder Wagon.\nTeam Spirit Bonus: Gather 10+ family members\, friends\, neighbors for a team discount!
