Alderman DiAndre Jackson Congratulates Sedan Smith on 9th Annual Change 4 Sylville Bookbag Drive

On August 13, I was proud to join Sedan Smith and the community at Sherman Park for the 9th Annual Change 4 Sylville Bookbag Drive. District 7 has now proudly participated for two years, and each time the event continues to grow and get even better.

This event provided free book bags, food, music, horseback rides, games, and more, making it not just a celebration, but a true investment in our children’s future. Sedan Smith’s leadership and dedication have turned this drive into a tradition that brings families together while preparing students for success in the school year ahead.
