La Causa’s 2025 Gala
MILWAUKEE, WI – La Causa, Inc. invites the community to its 2025 Celebration gala in support of its Crisis Nursery & Respite Center, taking place on Thursday, September 11th at the Rooftop Ballroom of the Baird Center, doors opening at 5:30 pm.
This year, the Crisis Nursery & Respite Center is celebrating 35 years of proudly serving the community.
The annual celebration is a key fundraiser for La Causa, Inc.’s Crisis Nursery & Respite Center (CNRC), the only licensed 24/7 crisis nursery in Wisconsin, which provides emergency and respite care to children aged birth to 12. Open 365 days a year, the center offers a safe and nurturing environment for children while their families face crises such as homelessness, domestic violence, medical emergencies, or extreme stress.
“Reaching this 35-year milestone is not just a moment of celebration—it’s a reflection of the extraordinary generosity and unwavering commitment of our community. From day one, it has been our donors and partners who have kept the doors of the Crisis Nursery and Respite Center open 24/7, every day of the year,” says Luis Ayala, President and CEO of La Causa, Inc.
This year’s gala theme is “Guarding Dreams,”. For over 50 years, La Causa, Inc. has stood as a guardian of possibility, protecting, uplifting, and guiding individuals as they pursue brighter futures. The name Guarding Dreams reflects La Causa, Inc.’s unwavering commitment to the hopes and aspirations of the children and families they serve.
