United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County launches Urgent Need Fund to support flood recovery.
This fund has been established to support local nonprofits in Southeastern Wisconsin.
[08/14/25] MILWAUKEE – In response to the recent historic flooding that has impacted thousands of people across our region, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County has launched the Urgent Need Fund: Flood Recovery.
“So many of our nonprofits are being pushed to their limits in providing flood recovery resources and services,” said Amy Lindner, president & CEO of United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County. “This is our chance to take care of each other.”
Corporations, organizations, and the general public are invited to donate to the Urgent Need Fund: Flood Recovery via the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County website.
Individuals and families seeking direct assistance are encouraged to call 211 or visit the IMPACT 211 website for available resources.
Nonprofits seeking assistance can visit the United Way Funding Opportunities Page to sign up to receive funding opportunity notifications. Notification will be sent when the grant opportunity opens.
The Urgent Need Fund: Flood Recovery builds on United Way’s longstanding commitment to community resiliency.
