Flood Cleanup Extended Hours for Home HazMat Centers
(Milwaukee, WI) – Starting August 14 through August 17, all MMSD Home HazMat collection centers will be open to accommodate any Milwaukee County residents cleaning up from the historic rainfall that occurred over the weekend. All drop-off centers will revert back to normal hours of operation starting August 18.
38th & Lincoln (3979 W Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee)
NEW HOURS for August 14 through August 17
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All Milwaukee County residents can use the Home HazMat drop off within this location, which is the City of Milwaukee Lincoln Drop Off Center. Only City of Milwaukee residents can use the additional services for disposing other non-Home HazMat items like bulky waste, electronics, tires and yard waste. Due to high demand, wait times are longer than usual at this location.
This drop-off center is less than one mile off the freeway, north of College Avenue. It is normally open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It will be open August 14 through August 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Menomonee Falls (W124 N9451 Boundary Rd)
Our Menomonee Falls drop-off center will be open August 14 through August 16.
August 14 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
August 15 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
August 16 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
