With a Broad Coalition, County Supervisor Jack Eckblad Launches Re-Election Campaign
Coalition announces first canvass this Saturday, June 28th, focused on building deeper community connections and broader electoral success.
MILWAUKEE, WI — On Monday night, Supervisor Jack Eckblad formally launched his re-election campaign with a launch party attended by a broad coalition of elected officials, activists, organizers, community leaders and neighbors.
Jack’s first campaign for public office brought together a broad coalition of volunteers and activist organizations who collectively knocked on over 18,000 doors, sent almost 1,000 individual letters, and engaged voters directly at dozens of public events.
With a focus on building deeper connections in the community, that coalition – which includes Swing Left and the Democratic Party – announced their first canvass on June 28th.
“Our campaign, our coalition, will set an example for our neighbors that will serve as a direct rebuttal to the toxicity we see at every level of politics right now,” Eckblad said. “Together, with our neighbors and allies, we will show what positive, values-driven progressive leadership can accomplish for our parks, and for foundational challenges like renters rights, climate change, and access to affordable housing.”
His work as County Supervisor is focused on delivering constituent services, revitalizing the parks of District 4, better aligning Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee’s climate cooperation, and expanding access to affordable housing.
