Wisconsin Professional Police Association President Niki Nelson said: “Brad Schimel has spent his career standing up for victims, supporting law enforcement, and making sure that dangerous criminals are held accountable.
Judge Brad Schimel said: “There is no endorsement that could mean more to me than this one. For 25 years as a prosecutor and then four as Attorney General, I’ve gotten a behind-the-scenes tour of the work that these brave men and women keeping our community safe do, and I’ve gotten to see the honor, integrity, hard work, and sacrifices they make. I’m proud to have these individuals stand with me. They also had a chance to see behind the scenes for me too. They got to see what I did when there weren’t cameras running and when there wasn’t anyone paying attention – that I put the people that I serve first. I put protecting community safety first, and they got to see that in me.
There’s no endorsement I could be more proud of than from the largest organization in Wisconsin representing those brave men and women on the front lines to keep our community safe. I’m very grateful for this endorsement, and I promise, as I did many times over the years, I will never let them down.”
