I take pride in introducing Healthy School Meals for All to also assist family in every community saving on their grocery bills. When knocking on doors or even strolling through our communities, I hear from constituents about the struggles of making ends meet with the rising costs of groceries and basic necessities. This proposal stands as a practical solution that ensures that not only to ensure that students receive healthy, balanced and nutritional meals at school, but it’ll also help working parents save more on their hard-earned money. According to estimates from the USDA, this proposal would save the average family $154 a month per child, or $1848 annually per school year.
