MILWAUKEE (Dec. 19, 2024) – The Milwaukee Bucks and BMO are teaming up for the sixth season of the BMO Bucks Custom Cap Series. This season’s collection was created by Bucks head coach Doc Rivers, Bucks guard Damian Lillard and Bucks play-by-play announcer Lisa Byington. The custom caps will be given away at three home games during the 2024-25 season, beginning on Thursday, Dec. 26. Photos of each hat are available for download HERE.

Rivers’ hat will be distributed on Thursday, Dec. 26, when the Bucks host the Brooklyn Nets. The design features a puff-embroidered “B” on the front of the cap and a rubberized Bucks logo on the bill. The green and black cap includes stylized eyelets, a green sandwich bill and the team’s “Fear the Deer” mantra on the Velcro closure on the back. The inside taping of the hat features the Bucks 2024-25 roster and the words “togetherness” and “Harambee,” a Swahili word meaning “let’s unite.”

Lillard’s trucker-style hat, which will be given away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, features a clock face and the slogan “414 To Yo City” on the front. Lillard also included two Dame Time elements: a patch showing his iconic wrist-tap celebration and “Dame” written as it would appear on a digital clock on the Velcro closure. The design features additional meaningful phrases above the Velcro closure, along the side of the cap and on the inside taping. Lillard further stylized the cap with his signature under the brim, and a music note on the top button pays tribute to his rap career.

The final hat, designed by Byington, will be given away on Saturday, March 8, alongside the Bucks’ Women’s Empowerment Night celebration presented by BMO. Inspired by the Bucks’ green Icon Edition jersey, Byington’s design features nods to her collegiate basketball career at Northwestern University, including her jersey number, 11, and the university’s primary purple color. Byington, who became the first female play-by-play announcer in the NBA in 2021, celebrated her career in the design by including a headset on the back of the cap and the words “background noise” on the inside taping.
