City of Milwaukee Seeking Experienced Police Officers to Join the Milwaukee Police Department

The City of Milwaukee is seeking experienced law enforcement officers to join the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD).  Lateral police officers hired through this recruitment are eligible to receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The City encourages qualified individuals to apply for this challenging and rewarding career with MPD.  This important position offers excellent job security and stability, competitive pay and benefits (including overtime opportunities and pension benefits), as well as consistent, merit-based opportunities for promotions and career advancement.

Qualified candidates must have at least one year of law enforcement experience post academy, and be at least 20 years old at the time of application and 21 at the time of appointment.  The deadline to apply is Sunday, December 22, 2024.
