Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr., Alderman Lamont Westmoreland, and Alderman DiAndre Jackson invite Milwaukee’s father figures and future fathers to attend the 19th Annual Fatherhood Summit this weekend on Saturday, November 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee Academy of Science, 2000 W. “This event will provide Milwaukee’s father figures, grandfathers, and future fathers an important opportunity to engage with other members of their community and utilize these resources available to them,” the Aldermen said. “We hope those who are interested will attend and learn how to achieve success not only through attending workshops, but through engaging with others attending.”
Although this event is free for those interested, pre-registration is required to attend. To register for this event, visit milwaukee.gov/fatherhood. For more information or further assistance, contact the Office of African American Affairs at (414) 286-0222.
