WHITEFISH BAY, WI – The union that represents employees at the Wisconsin-based textile manufacturing company owned by state senate candidate Jodi Habush Sinykin and her husband, Dan Sinykin, has come forward with a strong endorsement. In a statement released today, Chicago & Midwest Regional Joint Board of Workers United announced that the union proudly endorses Jodi Habush Sinykin for State Senate District 8.

“Over the years, our union has gotten to know Jodi through our partnership at Monterey Mills and know for a fact that Jodi and Dan are committed to providing our members with the training and work conditions necessary to ensure their safety to the greatest possible degree,“ said Kathy Hanshew, President of the Chicago and Midwest Regional Joint Board. “We are proud to endorse Jodi in her campaign for State Senate because we know she’ll continue to fight for working families in Madison, just as she has for us at Monterey Mills.”

“The endorsement of the Chicago and Midwest Regional Joint Board of Workers United is especially meaningful, as my husband Dan and I care deeply about our employees, and our top priority has always been to foster a safe work environment to the fullest extent possible.”
