WISCONSIN – Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) announced that the White House has nominated one of her and Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) recommended candidates for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Byron Conway. Conway was recommended to the Senators by the bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission that was established to provide recommendations for nominations during the 118th Congress for federal judicial positions and United States Attorneys.

“Our bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission delivered highly qualified nominees that have the experience and temperament to serve on the federal bench, and I was proud to join Senator Johnson in recommending Green Bay’s Byron Conway for District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin to the White House,” said Senator Baldwin. “I am glad that the White House followed our recommendation and look forward to reviewing the additional materials on Mr. Conway and am hopeful that our bipartisan pick can get confirmed expeditiously.”
