Milwaukee (April 24, 2024) –  HYFIN, in partnership with 37Oaks, is proud to announce its inaugural E-Commerce Summit, an event designed to connect and empower Milwaukee’s Black entrepreneurs in the online and digital shopping landscape. The summit will be held on Sat., May 18, 2024 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at Ward4, 313 N. Plankinton Ave., Ste 207.

Terrand Smith, founder and CEO of 37Oaks, a Black woman-owned Chicago-based commerce development and learning laboratory, will lead workshops to educate and prepare product-based businesses for growth. Attendees will leave with valuable insight and strategies to implement to support their business development.

Attendees can participate in 37Oaks University Courses, including an introduction to e-commerce and e-commerce conversion and an e-commerce expert panel discussion featuring experienced professionals who have launched and grown online businesses. The panel will discuss challenges, opportunities, trends, marketing, shipping, tools, and resources and will include a Q&A session.

In addition to the courses, the summit will feature application exercises and workshops, such as a conversion calculator exercise, a session on writing effective product descriptions, and an assessment to help attendees determine where they should focus their online growth efforts.

“We are thrilled to partner with 37Oaks to bring this invaluable resource to Milwaukee’s Black entrepreneurs,” said Tarik Moody, Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation at HYFIN. “The E-Commerce Summit is an opportunity for small business owners to gain the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in the ever-evolving digital marketplace.”
