Milwaukee Bucks Celebrates Black History Month & HBCU’s
Milwaukee, WI (February 2024) Breaking News! Milwaukee Bucks, sponsored by Johnson Controls, celebrates HBCUs in a monumental way, as we continue celebrating Black History Month.
HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), dates back to the 19th century, when many offered Black students an opportunity for higher education. Today, they continue to serve a vital role in higher education. At tonight’s NBA Game between Bucks and Hornets, many HBCU’s alum and Black Greek representation will be present to celebrate the evening.
We celebrate Dr. Candice Wright (President of an AKA interest group) and her husband, Dr. Wright (Veterinarian) for their leadership and support in ensuring that we are represented at tonight’s game.
Dr. Carolyn and Dr. Candice are available for interviews before the game and will be in attendance at the pregame celebration.
