Free, Public Job Fair and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic to be Held at MATC’s Oak Creek Campus Oct. 27

OAK CREEK, Wis. (Oct. 25, 2021) — Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Oak Creek Campus will host a job fair celebrating Manufacturing Month and a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27. Both events are free and open to the public and located at 6665 S. Howell Ave.

Dubbed “Growing Your Career and the Local Workforce,” the job fair will feature more than 30 employers with immediate openings in healthcare, manufacturing and other business fields. It will run from 1-4 p.m. in the Upper and Lower Atriums just inside the campus’ main entrance. Co-sponsors are MATC’s Career Hub and Workforce Solutions, Employ Milwaukee, Gateway to Milwaukee, Nucor Cold Finish Group and the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce. The vaccine clinic will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. in room A114. Co-sponsored by MATC and the Oak Creek Health Department, the clinic will offer Pfizer vaccines for those 12 years of age and above.
