Democratic Party of Wisconsin Statement on Donald Trump Visit to Green Bay
(WISCONSIN) — In response to Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Green Bay, Wisconsin, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Tommy Kubitschek released the following statement:
“As Green Bay-area hospitals are being pushed to the brink thanks to Trump’s failed COVID-19 response, Trump is continuing to make matters worse as he completely ignores the reality of the virus, saying ‘we’re rounding the corner’ while his White House admits they have given up on controlling the pandemic. Families have been devastated by Trump’s failure of leadership, small businesses have closed forever, and working Wisconsinites are still wondering how they’re going to pay their bills as they look for a job in Trump’s cratered economy. Through all of this, Trump is still continuing his attacks on our health care and threatening protections for people with pre-existing conditions. Wisconsinites know the only way to end this nightmare is by electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House on November 3rd.”
