Help needed to find hit-and-run suspects
Statement from Alderman Khalif J. Rainey May 22, 2020
A hit-and-run occurred last week at the intersection of Congress and Sherman that sent a woman to the hospital with severe injuries, and after several days in the hospital the victim passed away. I send my condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
This is yet another life lost due to reckless driving. This problem continues to impact our community and it has to end.
The suspects in this hit-and-run remain unknown and are yet to be found. I encourage anyone with information to assist the Milwaukee Police Department investigation. Those with any information can contact Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360 or Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-TIPS or the P3 Tips App.
