Hutton Campaign Announces Re-Election for the 13th District in the State Assembly
"Though we have accomplished much, now is not the time to rest on our accomplishments. There is still much to do in Madison.
Brookfield, WI—6/1/2018– Rob Hutton (R-Brookfield) is announcing that he will seek re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly. Representative Hutton serves the 13th Assembly District.
“I am genuinely humbled by the amount of support I have encountered as I’ve spoken to constituents over the past several weeks,” said Hutton. “Yesterday we turned in the maximum number of signatures from supporters throughout the 13th district.”
“This was a very productive session. We provided record funding for our schools, passed important protections for victims that ensure we hold criminals accountable, continued to make government more efficient to provide valuable savings, and turned those savings into tax cuts so taxpayers will keep more of their hard-earned money.”
“Though we have accomplished much, now is not the time to rest on our accomplishments. There is still much to do in Madison. I look forward to continuing to speak with residents in the 13th district about their ideas to keep Wisconsin moving forward.”
Representative Hutton served as Chair of the Government Accountability and Oversight Committee. In that capacity, he worked closely with his colleagues on bills that limited the size of government and ensured that taxpayer dollars were being spent wisely.
The general election takes place November 6, 2018. The 13thAssembly District includes Elm Grove, and portions of the Town of Brookfield, City of Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Waukesha, and West Allis.
