Milwaukee Repertory Theater Announces Special Events And Guest Appearances For Milwaukee’s Holiday Tradition A Christmas Carol

Hear Carolers, see Scrooge, and take in the spirit of Milwaukee’s favorite holiday tradition.

November 8, 2017 – (Milwaukee, WI) Milwaukee Repertory Theater commemorates the tradition of A Christmas Carol with a series of special events and guest appearances. Hear Carolers, see Scrooge, and take in the spirit of Milwaukee’s favorite holiday tradition. An opportunity for the community to connect with performers, local leaders, and media personalities, these events are sure to spread holiday cheer from now through the end of the year!

HOLIDAY EVENTS

The following events feature A Christmas Carol performers, are unique previews to this year’s full production, and provide a chance to snap some festive photographs!

TMJ4 Morning Blend Guest Appearance

Wednesday, November 15, 9 am

Tune in to the Morning Blend to hear your first dose of The Rep’s Carolers and learn more about the production of A Christmas Carol from our Mr. and Mrs. Cratchit, Reese Madigan and Rana Roman.

Holiday Lights Festival Kick Off

Thursday, November 16, 6 pm

Pere Marquette Park, 900 N. Plankinton Road

Enjoy the downtown holiday lights, hot cocoa, fireworks and the sound of The Rep Carolers at the Holiday Lights Festival Kick off.  This event is free and open to the public.

2017 Milwaukee Holiday Parade

Saturday, November 18, 9:30am

Friday, November 24, 6 pm

Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay

The Rep Carolers will stroll in the parade and sing traditional Christmas carols to get you in the holiday spirit.

Colectivo – Friday Song Series

Friday, December 1, 4 pm

Colectivo Wauwatosa, 6745 W Wells St

The Rep’s Carolers will perform some of your favorite Christmas songs to get you in the mood for the opening of A Christmas Carol.  This event is free and open to the public.

Milwaukee Public Market Holiday Shopping

Saturday, December 2, 11 am

Milwaukee Public Market, 400 North Water Street

The Rep Carolers will spread Christmas cheer to all the holiday shoppers at the Milwaukee Public Market.

FOX 6 Wake Up and Real Milwaukee

Wednesday, December 6, 7am – 10am

Tune in to Fox 6 Wake Up from 7am – 9am as Carl Deffenbaugh reports LIVE from the Pabst stage to go behind the scenes of this year’s A Christmas Carol.

TMJ4 Live at Noon

Wednesday, December 6, 12 pm

Tune in to hear TMJ4 anchor Vince Vitrano talk with a member of the cast to get an inside look at A Christmas Carol.

Cocoa with Clauses in Cathedral Square Park

Treat you and your family to Santa and Mrs. Claus, Free Cocoa & Cookies, Face Painting, Reindeer Games and Holiday music from The Rep’s own Carolers.  This event is free and open to the public.
