South Shore All Abilities Playground to Host 4th Annual Craft/Vendor Fair on October 21st
"The Craft/Vendor Fair will be held just in time for the holidays at Deer Creek Intermediate School on Saturday, October 21st from 9AM to 3PM."
MILWAUKEE – Representative Christine Sinicki (D-Milwaukee) congratulates the South Shore All Abilities Playground on its upcoming Craft/Vendor Fair and encourages the public to attend. Her full statement follows:
“The Craft/Vendor Fair is an important fundraiser for the All Abilities Playground and a great way to show support for the community while browsing some excellent vendors.
“Whether it’s playing on a slide, being pushed on a swing, or enjoying a merry-go-round, spending time on a playground is an integral part of childhood. Every child should be able to play together, and that’s why the All Abilities Playground is so important. The Playground includes features to aid wheelchairs and walkers, accommodate sensitivity issues, and aid safety concerns. The goal is to allow children of all abilities to play together harmoniously and not be limited by any barriers.
“The Craft/Vendor Fair will be held just in time for the holidays at Deer Creek Intermediate School on Saturday, October 21st from 9AM to 3PM. Vendors and crafters will feature products for gifts, decorating, entertaining, and more. Each purchase not only helps local vendors but also brings the All Abilities Playground closer to its fundraising goals.
“I’ll certainly be there, and I hope to see many members of the community in attendance as well.”
